The Friends of Our Lady of Lourdes Latest Newsletter: Feb 12 Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage After School Disco on Thurs 15th March - book by Fri 2nd  The Friends are a voluntary organisation of parents who help to raise money for the School to purchase items not normally covered by the budget allocations. As well as being a group of parents who get together to help organise events and raise funds we use the time to socialise. We tend to meet every 4-6 weeks in the Fleece, Church Green, where we discuss the various matters requiring attention. During the course of the School year we try and plan a number of fund-raising events including the Summer Fetes, discos, sponsored events for the children, Bingo and others.  If you join the Friends committee you can donate as much or as little time as you can spare, every little bit of help is most welcome. Some of our members have been with us for over 5 years as their children have progressed through the School. Every year we arrange for a travelling Christmas pantomime for the children and provide voluntary help to the school whenever possible.
