World Book Day 2021
Dear Parents, Carers and members of our community
World Book Day
World Book Day is on 4th March 2021 and for obvious reasons, things will be a bit different this year!
Firstly, class teachers will be recording themselves reading picture books aimed at different age groups and putting them on this page. Why not take some time to listen.
Secondly, every teacher will post various activities and website links to Seesaw. This includes resources, stories and ideas linked to World Book Day so please keep a look out for these from Monday. There will be 3 main activities for children to choose from and we expect every child to do at least one of them. Once complete, it should be uploaded to Seesaw.
Finally, you can also find some exciting games and other ideas on the World Book Day website:

We hope the children will find these activities fun and that you will enjoy sharing the ‘joy of books’ with them! There will be a segment for World Book Day in Congratulations Assembly on Friday 5th March.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Kilby-Salt and Mrs O’Kane
